7:12 Ministries is more than an organization
It is a living testimony of God’s grace. Its founder, Shane Fountain, experienced deep brokenness from a very young age. This early pain and struggle set the stage for over two decades of addiction, leaving him searching for meaning in all the wrong places.
His lowest point came inside a jail cell. What seemed like an ending became the beginning of transformation. It was there Shane encountered Jesus Christ in a powerful way, and God began a journey of redemption.
Shane’s journey did not unfold alone. Ministries and individuals who walked faithfully alongside him discipled, mentored, and modeled what it meant to live surrendered to Christ. Their investment set his life on a new trajectory—one filled with freedom, purpose, and hope.
From that redemption, 7:12 Ministries was born. Rooted in Matthew 7:12, the ministry exists to do for others what was once done for Shane: walking alongside people in authentic relationship and guiding them into freedom in Christ.
Shane believes that many youth experience cycles of brokenness similar to what he faced at a young age. By going into public schools, 7:12 Ministries seeks to intervene early, build authentic relationships, and point students toward freedom in Jesus Christ, helping to break cycles of generational pain before they take root.
